El Valencia alzó al cielo de Madrid su séptima Copa del Rey.
Losde Koeman marcaron un paréntesis en su temporada y acabaron con lasilusiones del Getafe en la gran final (3-1). El Valencia supointerpretar el arranque de partido y en sólo once minutos puso un2-0 enel marcador. Los tantos de Mata y Alexis sustentaron el plan de unValencia que recordó al que se hizo grande. Pese al tanto de penalti deGranero, Morientes sentenció a siete minutos del final y desató laeuforia en la zona naranja del Calderón y en todo Valencia.
